Summerhouse Cottage is an open-concept oasis nestled in a 100 acre property on the Argyle Shore.
This rental property is a fully equipped 3 bedroom cottage overlooking the Northumberland Strait and fields of wildflowers. It has a spacious, light, airy atmosphere open to sea breezes with a picture view from every window.
10 minutes drive to the village of Victoria-by-the-Sea, 20 to Confederation Bridge, 30 to Charlottetown and a short walk to a warm swim on Prince Edward Island’s south shore. Restaurants, theatre, golf, clam digging, cycling and long walks on the beach or in the woods are all nearby.
Available from May 1st to October 31.
The fruit blossoms are wonderful to see and smell in the Spring. Summer is a time for swimming, relaxing on the beach, hiking, volleyball, or badminton and to enjoy fresh organic produce from our gardens. Come sit on the veranda and watch the full moon on the Northumberland Strait.
Fall encourages visitors to take in the local oyster festivals or view the beautiful foliage as it turns to gold, amber and red outside our back door.
For 25 years, Joe and Gail Kern owned and operated PEI’s first and largest natural, imported, and specialty food store. You are invited to pick fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit growing in the organic gardens on the property (seasonal availability). Natural and scent-free cleaning products including shampoo, soaps, laundry and kitchen detergents are also provided.
